Dornier Do-28D2
Well I couldn't resist anymore but to share this one with public. Well known aircraft that served in many airforces and I believe still serves in some. I am going to make 2 or 3 variants max with few generic repaints. Paintkit will be available in 2048x2048 in case this one gets converted to FSX/P3D at least full amount of details can be used.
I have to say this is the fastest model I made in my life, started it 2 3 days ago. FDE is in progress and model itself is ready for LODs.

Re: Dornier Do-28D2
Advice needed:
almost all video I have watched Do-28 lands with flaps half extended (same like for take off), so I am wondering if it is necessary to make model with fully extended flaps and leading edge or to keep it only at half.
cheers

Re: Dornier Do-28D2
Whilst searching online for info I found the EASA Type Certificate Data Sheet for the Do 28.
It does indicate the minimum speeds for 0 and 15 up to 45 degs. So it sounds like it may depend upon the airfield that you are operating at. To get a definitive answer may mean talking to somebody that has flown one.
The one question I have is whether the LE flaps are extended at half flap, normal, or full flap that you post seems to indicate.
Sorry not much more help than that.

Re: Dornier Do-28D2
I have decided after watching many videos to make retracted and extended flaps (not fully to maximum angle) since all videos I watched they extend them to position one , never to position two except when simulating low speed flight on some airshow. So take off and landing flaps will have same value
inner and middle 20*
Outer 11.5*
No slats movements coz it moves only when flaps goes fully extended.

Re: Dornier Do-28D2
They have them near me at Skydive Hibaldstow I think they have a Turboprop version as well (G92?)
You can hear them most good days.
All foreign registered as I dont thing the type is approved in the UK
Can feel a civil paint scheme coming on Miljan

I saw turboprop version. As far as I know they are registered in Hungary. I will try to recreate engine but can't promise. My main focus is on retro aircraft with this one.

Nice model, I want to use it for several 1980's German airbases.
