Re: JYAI Tornado repaint request
If is it for the same model (JYAI I presume) you can convert the FSX textures to the FS9 format (using DXTBmp for exemple)
Re: JYAI Tornado repaint request
Is it easy to do?

Yes, load the FSX texture into DxtBmp and make sure you can see the alpha channel in the top right window. The texture and the alpha will be inverted for FSX.
Flip the image and the alpha (top menu) so both are the right way up.
Save the image at Extended Bitmap, Dxt3.

Dave,
Once you have tried it manually then I would suggest using Don Grovestines TextureManager to do the donkey work. TM uses the same graphics lib that DxtBmp does.
This works best for me create a folder in your Tornado folder, something like 'aaa'.
Copy all of the texture folders you want to convert across to it.
Set up TM source folder to the 'aaa' folder.
Set include sub-folders.
Set compression to DXT3, File types to bmp and Resize to No change, as they are 1024x1024 textures.
Now if you set the mask to 'JYAI_Tornado_t.dds' and then hit the List files button you should see all the files that you are going to convert.
Once you have confirmed that all is well then click Update Source and then Process Textures.
The update source will remove a dds file once it has been converted.
Now if you do not have one JYAI_Tornado_loadout_retro_t.bmp in your global texture folder then you will need to do the operation agin setting the mask to 'JYAI_Tornado_loadout_retro_t.dds'
Once finished simply move all the altered folders to there final resting place, and finally delete the 'aaa' folder.

Re: JYAI Tornado repaint request
Where were the FSX paints for those located? I'm looking for those.
Bazinga!
Re: JYAI Tornado repaint request
The weird thing is that even though I posted on how to convert them, I too couldn't find the download anywhere.
I had them on my system. Eventually worked out, by looking at the package, that you have to search for 'laarbruch' in the download hangar.
I eventually realized that the one you want is titled 'Repaint SEPECAT Jaguar - RAF Laarbruch (NBAI) '.
It actually contains 1x Jag sqn and 3x Tonka sqns.

Re: JYAI Tornado repaint request
Those are repaints of the Tornados and Jags at Laarbruch I did a couple of years ago. When I uploaded them I gave them the title of RAF Laarbruch 1998, or something similar, but when they were uploaded the title was changed to Jaguars RAF Laarbruch. Maybe the library staff could change the title to something more appropriate that would help people find them.
