USE RED ARROWS

Post by beroun »

Hi,
Plan to publish an enhanced FREE! Farnborough EGLF scenery download in Flightsim For FS2004 and would like to use Red Arrows AI aircraft (which I have downloaded from this site) - to add reality to the scenery.
Wander If I need any permission?
Please let me know
Cheers

The simplest way is to write your own flight plan and give users the link to the aircraft in your manual. I don't think the author is active now, so asking for permission may be difficult.

Hi John,
Me again.
Sorry to bother but have no luck finding these Hawks in MAIW site? Have downloaded it from MAIW few years ago but cannot find the airplanes downloads anymore:

MAIW_NBAI_BAe Hawk 60 Red Arrows Blue 7,8,9
MAIW_NBAI_BAe Hawk 60 Red Arrows Red 1,2,3
MAIW_NBAI_BAe Hawk 60 Red Arrows White 4,5,6

Perhaps removed?
If not, any chance to send the link (s)
Would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

I have a feeling that they might be part of the Pratica di Mare Airshow package. Search fro 'Pratica' in the Hangar and you should find it.

Does it use a special "Red Arrows" Hawk model? or is just a matter of converting the textures & flightplan.

Just checking as i haven't downloaded the pack yet.

Also looking forward to the Farnborough scenery (hopefully I can import it into P3D)

Is this the Red Arrows formation of 9 Hawks as a single model? If it is, I think the formation spawns from a waypoint at altitude and then heads towards the display airfield where it does an overshoot or three and then returns to the waypoint. The "model" of 9 aircraft has no undercarriages so can't be placed on the ground, not that 9 aircraft would taxi or take-off like that of course.

I am pretty sure they are around separately. I will check. We are sure they are not in the existing conversion pack?
