Utlive 2 is a Flight 1 airline AI program, and the whole thing is a few Gb! So which bit do you want?

Edit: doh - should have looked closer. Stand by...

It works fine if individual folders are used.
I cannot replicate that, Jim.

Is it comparable to this structure?

It's crashing straight away, Martin - with this message in the Crash Box:

Could not load file or assembly 'AutoUpdater.NET, Version=1.8.5.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=501435c91b35f4bc' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

However, if I cancel the crash box it seems to be working OK!

That is another issue, Tim.

This will be corrected with the update as well.

Tim, I fear what you see is the same as Jorgen has reported earlier. Please redownload the installer from here or the Owl’s Nest.

That should fix both the crash and the error message above.

This morning I saw that 4.2.27 was now available, and also saw this conversation. I then went and started 4.2.26, and it crashed on startup. Knowing that 4.2.27 was available, I did not send the crash report, instead installed 4.2.27, have started that numerous times and no crashes.

@All

It has been a hard ride to fix the crash that happened for some people during the SimObject analysis and the other one I introduced for everyone when I switched to the current version of the Updater component.

I apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused and would like to thank all the people who helped me find the bugs that were never triggered on my development and flightsim computer.

To get to a safe installation please download the installer for Version 4.2.27 and update your AIAE installation. You can find the installers @ MAIW and @ The Owl's Nest.

Thank you for using AIAE!
Cheers,
Martin

I'm getting a crash report every time I start the latest version (4.2.26.0) win11 P3Dv4.5

Have sent crash report to you but if I just cancel it AIAE carries on with no obvious problems.

One thing I have noticed is that when selecting each aircraft the main screen shows the Model version/status but this info no longer comes up in the log viewer. Without the log entry I have to select each model in the aircraft folder to ascertain the version of the model. In the old version it was checked and reported for all models in the folder, now it only reports the model name in the Log viewer. Hope this makes sense.

Pete,
Sorry to butt in, but Martin said earlier that due to a new component you need to download and install version 27 to finally fix the issues.

Let me check this, Pete.
This and a texture bug reported by Jim are the issues I am aware of.

Have just updated to V.4.2.27.0 and the crash report has now gone. Sorry I missed the fact that I needed to manually update to .27.
