Guys I will tell you that you will be seeing Gripen packages from MAIW for all the major users in the next couple of months. Strangely the staff has come down with a case of "Gripen Fever", a very deadly and time consuming disease. :D

I share this with you to possibly save you some work down the road.

I know I should´nt ask....but as a Swede living in Australia I have a special interest in the Gripen and what is around it. So, I wonder if the projekt is still ongoing and if, I am really looking forward to see the Gripen and other SAF planes flying about the F7 base. Don´t forget to put in the training runs out to the Skagerak ( the North Sea outside the Swedish West Coast ) I used to live not far from F7 and I also saw the planes coming sniffing out at the coast.
Keep up the good work and thanks for a very nice site.

It is alive and well. It was on hold for a while but now is back on track. Pretty much everything is done except for the flightplans which always take the longest time, and yes they will fly to the area you have mentioned.

Without giving too much away, here is a sneak peak of the F7 wing at Satenas AB.

Hi folks,

May I ask if there are any updates available referring the Swedish Gripens and/ or the Czech Gripens? Very nice model and I would be happy to see more of them flying!

Regards

The Swedish Gripens are still being worked, We hit a problem with something that we are trying to add to the package and so we are trying to work out a way of fixing it. Apart from this the package is very advanced on our production line.
The Czech Gripens, I don't know anything about. Sorry.

Mark,
You can get the Gripen models from our Hungarian package. http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=126947

There are some small differences between the export versions and the Swedish versions but these will keep you going for a while.
