Hi Mark
The "odd" repaints are from HS 5 and 7 on the USS Wasp from information and photos provided by Joecoastie (550 was his ride). The white & gray ones, are just out of the imagination, since they are not accuratly coded. I could start texturing more realistic H-3 as I get info on them (photos, etc.). I may post them all as a pack, since they are all ready. Lewis

FYI
I have just uploaded the first of the Seakings package, USS Wasp scheme, to Flightsim.com today. Should be available in a couple of days. As soon as I complete the other two, Navy Seakings at Jax and the USCG Seakings at Elizabeth City, I will upload them.
Lewis
PS I have uploaded the other 2 packs, Navy Grays / White scheme at Jax NAS and USCG at Elizabeth City.

I am using Jim's base KNIP scenery with the MAIW afcad, see screenies.
I am also a UH-60 guy, retired after 25 years in the Army Guard as Crewchief, flying OH-6, UH-1 and finally the UH-60 (last 5 years). I guess that I just love helicopters of any type, and when there is an oportunity to help build new FS models, I'm in. The SH-3 is from Rob Nieuwenhoven, Chris Jones and Mal Lloyd work.
Cheers, Lewis

Just got them downloaded, thanks for these. I might have to dig up some of my old squadron's (HS-15) H-3 paint schemes from this period (2 tone-grey/white). I did have a Mayport AFCAD started, having spent hours in the pattern there, but was still waiting on good AI helos.
Just a quick question on the scenery. If I put the MAIW FL Orions AFCAD in, the one within JD's KNIP.zip scenery overwrites it, so I only have 8 or so P-3's on the ramp, and not the full ramp as in the MAIW AFCAD alone. I then just tried to remap the KNIP.bgl AFCAD with the MAIW one the hard way, and then lost all the hangars/scenery?

Helos are great, I'll try to post some pics of my 1980's paints.
On the scenery, I follow how you are doing that, but the KNIP.zip I have, within the scenery folder is only one .bgl, KNIP.bgl. How do I just extract the AFCAD and not mess with the scenery .bgls? I just wanted to replace the AFCAD with the MAIW one and leave the scenery there.

Victory, are you using FS9 or FSX? The configuration I have posted above is the only way I can make the two bgl's work together. I am using FS9. I have a guess that there are two versions of this scenery because in the readme file, it says:
"1. Deactivate and remove your current (if you have one) Jacksonville NAS folder.
2. Find AF2_knip.bgl (if you have it) and remove it as well.
3. Copy the KNIP folder to your Addon Scenery folder.
4. Activate your new scenery with Flight Simulator.
5. If you use FsNav, be sure to run the DBC creator."
I may have an older version that will acept my configuration.

Sorry, FS9. Yeah if I do place the MAIW AFCAD in the KNIP scenery folder, start FS9 and I still have the KNIP.bgl AFCAD being used. It's a be tricky issue and I have not been able to fix even prior to the MAIW FL Orions package being released. Right now I have to choose between the great scenery or a more accurate AFCAD. I'll continue to tweak.
