Has anyone got one of these, or is considering buying one.
I bought one 22/5 at 1400hrs but by 2100hrs I still hadn't got it going.
It won't install as after the first option, country, an error message shows.
'The ui file is missing'. Does anyone know what it means.
I could pack it all up and take it back I suppose but I can't say it doesn't work, I haven't got that far yet!
I don't think I can express my true feelings on this forum about Kodak's online centre but suffice it to say I'm trying to find an email address for Kodak UK to complain. There isn't even an address for general complaints.
Has anyone got any tips. I have HP 2.40ghz quad core with 4gb ram running Vista.

Sorry, Chris I can't help you there as I haven't got one of them nor Vista.
It might be worth searching to see if you have the latest driver and software for Vista, or it may even be that you need to install it in a specific way for Vista, I don't know how much experience you have with it.

Do not know if this will help as I do not have the printer, but found this site which stated that a problem with Vista, and a d/l driver pack.
http://alldayprinting.us/2008/07/12/kod ... -pack.html
Also found this site that has a fairly new driver for Vista for the Kodak all-in-one printers. Make sure you backup/still have the original driver you got.

If it was me, I would try the second one - Kodak as a first try.
Good luck,

Thanks to all for the support.
These days I thought this never happened. I thought it was 'plug and play' not 'lug and slay'.
Rick, I had been down the Kodak route when with the online help and it still wouldn't get the software going. Its for Vista and XP so may try it on an XP machine before I take it back.
