Rumour has it that there is one in a very advanced LOD1 stage, however it is 2nd in line at the moment behind another classic.

awsum. i am a huge lightning fan as i was brought up on them. and i would reali love an AI one. i will keep my eyes open on the classic front then.

is there a website that you do the classics on?

Everything is done here.

Just on kind of a retro kick at the moment - one caveat
There must still be flying examples.

It would be a challenge for the flight dynamics guru to recreate a vertical climb off the runway!

Alphasim had one AI model in one of there Lightning packages......

Which pack and which versions did they have?
Also do you know how AI it really was (poly count)?

@BLACKCAT
Unfortunately the AI engine doesn't allow you to choose vertical departure, so to give it the performance that would enable that climb rate would make the aircraft so unrealistic.

if it wouldnt be very realistic then theres not reali much point in doing it in that way i supose.
it would be a truly spectacular site to see on the sim with me and my father having a particular sft spot fr the lightning. i sure there are uknown amounts of people like that with a certain aircraft.

fantstic news. just out of interest i was woundering what mk you would be doing?

i was at waddo at there airshow and i saw the resteration work of 'AA' the sqd ldr aircraft. it looks fantastic.

There is an AI Lightning included in the UKMIL Sculthorpe V2 package.
