BZ! Time for a retro "retro" Top Gun (NKX) package! Love the Phantoms and they look better than older flyable models!

I watched the F-4B model take off the other day and my one concern over it is that it has the extendable noseleg of the F-4K, wish I knew how he did that though. My personal hope is that the schemes can be renamed and fit the F-4C model.

That's what I am trying to do...

All carrier versions of the Phantom had extendable nose gear oleo struts. For the British F-4Ks the extension was increased to 40 inches because of the smaller carrier decks and shorter catapults.
I don't find the data for the US Navy Phantoms right now, but as far as I remember the nose gear extension was nearly doubled for the F-4K.

The texture mapping for the F-4B and F-4C model is identical except for the external stores and the brake chute of the F-4C model.

Also none of the pictures of VF-191 and VF-194 Phantoms I found showed them carrying two wing tanks.
The US Navy usually only used the center tank except for long-range missions contrary to the USAF which regularly used two wing tanks.
