it should do, i assume you are talking about Chris Milne's ai pack. if so then i have made flightplans for them to fly out over oil rigs and they go to other bases.

Hi,

Looks like you have made a great job of this airfield, but if you don't mind could I make a small observational comment.

The 2 hangars in the above screenshot are the incorrect type. They are the earlier RAF built 1934 C-type hangar, the ones at Kinloss are the later 1938 design which was slightly different in appearance.

They should be this type of hangar which should also be available in Ted Andrews objects.

regards

Stevo ;)

Judging by the results of my poll over at ACG, Lossiemouth will be my next project following the release of Coningsby in June. The poll closes on the 14th April so keep a look out on the forum for updates etc.

Cheers

you guys over at ACG, if you did a lossiemouth it would be insane if it ends up being like your marham package.

Dale,
A couple of bits of feedback for you. Some of the ground equipment shows up white in my system. I have a feeling that you didn't use the latest version that MAIW uses for the scenery. Which version did you use so that I can download it and place it in the scenery folder.

Image

Also due to an issue either created by UT Europe or a mesh on my system, i found that watching on take off large chunks of the runway seemed to be grass. This is due to the ground not being even. I was able to cure it by slipping a taxiway under the runway. Taxiways automatically flatten whereas runways don't.

I also got the aircraft disappearing on flight as there are no runways set for at least some of the oil platforms.

i dont really know about any of your problems apart from the AI thing. even with that i am not sure how to get around it.

Sorry mate

So you can't remember which ez-scenery lib you used for the Ground Equipment. OK.

The oil rig problem you have to add a runway at each place. If you set it at 0' and make it the thinnest that you can, which I think is 5' and make the surface water. What you must do through is ensure that aircraft that use it are IFR, otherwise your Nimrods will do a roller on the Sea.

If anybody else has a clue as to which equipment is used can they let me know please.

Not a 100% sure but I reckon it's the RAF 1980's ground service equipment try copying the raf ground equipment and houchin textures from the MAIW scenery library objects folder to the main FS9 texture folder

Well that maybe kinda bizarre as I have that on my system, but I will try shifting it around just in case the scenery was created looking for textures in a specific place rather than the normal search path.

I will let you know how i get on.
