NBAI Airbus A400M Version 1
Re: NBAI Airbus A400M Version 1
James, you are a true gent. Also thanks to Nick for making this model, and a big hand to all of those who helped it see the light of day.

thanks a lot for your flightplans.james84 wrote:France (based at LFOJ)
There is a little typo in aircraft.cfg:
"title=NBAI_A400M_FAF 0010 F-RBACA ET01.061"
should be:
"title=NBAI_A400M_FAF 0010 F-RBAC ET01.061"

Re: NBAI Airbus A400M Version 1
can anybody help with an afcad for ETNW which will show the GAF A400M. Have tried all the afcads available on avsim/flightsim including John Sinstrom's but no sign of the A400M at Wunstorf airbase.

Loaded in the model and plans, then went to ETNW;

Re: NBAI Airbus A400M Version 1
Dear all,
I'd like to take time to say thank you for all the kind words on here in relation to this model. His was my favourite model to build and I did not not get the chance to properly finish it, which is a shame because I also feel it was some of my best work.
However thanks to the great skills of those here at MAIW you can now enjoy her as I intended.
Please fill your skies with the beast and let's see those screenies of what she gets up to.
Thanks again and all the best
Nick

Hello MAIW,
I have tested my first A400 pack of RAF and I love the model. It looks very realistc.
I like the highh quality textures of the aircraft. also at night.
But there are a few things which could be improved. I hpoe the designer will read this, too.
I noticed that when the A400 starts the pushback the entry and Cargo ramp a still open while the aircraft is moving back.
When it is ready for taxi, the door and ramp will close.
I think it would be better, wenn the entry door and cargo ramp would be closed short befor pushback. May be 15min before pushback. That would be more realistic.
I also would like to see improved texture of the innerside, wenn the ramp is opened.
Aso I noticed that when the aircraft starts to taxi the nose gear moves against the aircraft moving direction. For example if the aircraf is turning to the left, the nose gear is turning to the right. But this happens only after pushback, when the aircraft starts taxing.

Perhaps you could post a picture or two of the model you made for comparison?

LOL!
The model doesn't push back in real life, that's why it does what it does.
It's not a freaking airliner..... It doesn't park at a gate.
