DDR Flugzeugforum - new section in the download center

I have uploaded all airports from the Team DDR Flugzeugforum in a dedicated section. This is all in FS9. I still have to upload the static object libraries, which I had to repackage and which in addition I have already converted in FSX format... :wink:

You may not:
• Distribute these packages or parts of them (no matter how and where to)

You may:
• Use the packages on your computer(s)
• Convert the packages to FSX/P3D and share the result here (and nowhere else)
• Fix any issues that may still exist in these packages and share the result here (and nowhere else)

Please understand that MAIW cannot support issues with these packages. Our community is the right place to discuss and solve anything that does not work as expected.

The static object libraries are uploaded as well. I would appreciate if somebody could check the FS9 libs - its been a long time since I have done something for that sim.

Hello,

I've downloaded and installed them for my FS9. I've checked all the libraries BGL with ModelConverterX to see all objects. All seems to be OK.

Thanks a lot for theses files.

Using them with other from Czech and Polish from MAIW will be a great help for Eastern Block sceneries creation.

Hi,

I have been working on converting these to P3D. I have gone through all the airport scenery .bgls individually with MCX and creating object libraries as well as added the Static aircraft and object libraries that were provided into the ADE library object manager. However, I am still coming up with a lot of black box objects at various airports. I have compiled a list of the GUIDs that appear to be missing any insights would be appreciated. Once I am finished with this project I will share the result however it make take a while.

Anyway the airports I have found black boxes at are as follows:

Also I a lot of the textures for the vegetlib.bgl included in the Heringsdorf scenery appear to be missing... Thanks for the help!

I will look into this and ask the authors for help. But it will take some time. Does the position of the black boxes give an indication what they might be, e.g. trees?

Thanks for looking into this. In some cases, I would say yes; for example some appear to be static aircraft and trees; in other cases not so much (some of the indications came by way of the name of the bgl I was importing). Since it is a long and varied list it would take me some time to decompile this... But I can send you what I have if you wish...

Hi Martin & all, Thanks for hosting this.

Welzow1.1 appears to be an update only with missing object libraries & textures. I see it is on flightsim.com however along with its predecessors where most files can be found: welzow_fsx.zip or welzow.zip (for FS2004).

You are right, I noticed this during the FSX conversion, but forgot to update the FS9 upload. I will fix it this weekend.
