You're cracking me up! And I agree!
Don't know if it has been done or crossed any ones mind but how about the infamous Vandy 1?
A fond memory for me as I use to live in Mugu's flight pattern and saw that 4 all the time (as well as Phantoms with no pilots!).
Just a thought.
B-E-A-utiful!!!! Now if someone would do some retro USAF, AFRES, and ANG Phantoms we'd be in Phantom Heaven! Love the work. I was wondering how you put them in FS? Do you just replace the provide AC in the packaged flight plans or do you create new FP's for them?

You can do either. It depends upon whether you want to add more traffic or replace some of what you have already.

I am using the flightplans of the Top Gun, NAS Beaufort and NAS Atsugi MAIW packages simply replacing the aircraft as well as some custom flightplans I made for NAS Oceana.
Except for the VF-142 and VF-143 repaints which have not been uploaded yet, all my repaints are available on AVSIM and flightsim.com. You can search for the filenames mentioned in this thread or search for Hartwig Ullrich.
The Vandy 1 paint scheme will be included in a VX-4 package but there are still some jets waiting for a paint job.
Using TTools and your stock notepad you can just make a copy of the flightplans, and change the aircraft txt file with the Phantoms. You need to have a working knowledge of TTools.
