 OK, in which case I won't go into it again. Suffice it to say that Martin's tool will tell you what you size a spot needs to be to allow the aircraft to fit there.
In FSX you are at a disadvantage in that you have to increase the parking slots to match the aircraft. If you alter the aircrafts wingspan to its true size you will alter the fde and therefore affect the way it flies.

Hopefully that is simpler and specific to you.

Su-27 Family v2 by SBAI released

http://www.sbai.ucoz.ua/

includes
Su-27, Su-27UB, Su-30, Su-33, Su-34, Su-37
and layered paintkits for all variants.

The texture mapping seems to be unmodified from version 1 so all repaints should be compatible :D

Yeah, it would be nice if he could slowly work his way through the Soviet combat arsenal.

Just so that everyone understands the AI FDE situaiton for all the models in the 14_AI-Su-27_v2 package. I only created an AI FDE for the SBAI Su-33 Flanker D Dry model and none of the others. However, even with the SBAI_Su-33_Flanker-D_Dry FDE that I provided, it appears that someone may have made some modifications, so I can't guarantee either its authenticity or functionality. Hopefully it will still function OK, but I have learned the hard way that with AI FDE's only the slightest of well intentioned modifcations can cause some fairly significant changes in takeoff, flight and/or landing performance.

Does that include changing the FS9 model/parking radius?

No you don't have to worry about that,Dan.
Only the mdl is used to determine the size for FS9. If any of the mdls have drag chutes, I haven't checked yet, then they would increase the size but you can always reduce them again with various tools.

Can you load the SU-34 as flyable aircraft (aircraft type = 0 in air file) ?

Did possibly save a texture in the wrong format (different than dxt1, dxt3 or 32bit) ?

The SU-34 also made my FS9 crash to desktop.

Replacing the [lights] section in the aircraft.cfg of the SU-34 with that of the SU-37 solved the issue.

Ray, I think I have the same problem. I don't know if it's the Su34 causing the problem because I don't finish the tests. For sure, it's not the only AC that causing problem.
I have all the AC coming from the SU27 V2 pack at my test airport and try to look at them with TVB. One of them causing a crash of FS9 when selected, another one causes a different problem, I can close FS, but immediatly after, I have an error saying that FS wasn't closed correctly or something like that. I can't be more precise because I'm not on the PC with FS and unfortunately I don't have so many time at this moment to do other tests.

    I did some other tests.
The only aircraft causing problem to me, is "Su-27 Weapons Test".
When it is viewed in FS, the sim crash. It doesn't matter if I look at it with TVB or not.
    Any news from other?

Has anyone had problems with FS9 crashing when in map view
or when you try to resize the GPS map. I have had these problems
and they started around the time I installed the SU27 v2 package.

It only just occurred to me this may be my problem.
