Re: Agusta A109's

Maybe for future repaints, one of the models could be used to replicate the MH-68A Stingrays the Coast Guard used to fly for counter drug missions? I wish I could paint them, but I unfortunately don't have FSX with me and I got limited space on my laptop. Just an idea for someone to try out. https:/...

Super Hornet Ski Jump

Boeing, along with VX-23 tested the F/A-18E at Pax River to demonstrate the Super Hornet's ability to take off from Carriers with Ski Jumps. This test was aimed at the Indian Navy who are finding a replacement for the MiG-29Ks. https://assets.newatlas.com/dims4/default/fd077cc/2147483647/strip/true/...

Re: Thoughts on the next project

For a future suggestion; maybe a Grumman S-2 Tracker as there don’t seem to be any models for the type.

Re: Going to the Air Force

Hi Everybody, I’m back here after being dark for almost 8 weeks. So first off, I made it though my 7 weeks of BMT at Lackland and I’m now officially an Airman in the US Air Force. After graduation last week, I flew on a chartered 737 from Kelly Field to my Tech School at Sheppard AFB. I’m now gettin...

Re: Going to the Air Force

Good Afternoon Everyone, It's been awhile since I've chatted on this for so I'll catch all of you up of what's been happening. So first and foremost: I finally have a job in the Air Force booked for me. The job is Bomber/Special Electronic Warfare/Radar maintenance. I'm scheduled to ship out to Lack...

That's completely understandable. I can definitely survive without any new files, I've just been curious. My apologies for wording my question like that.

I've been curious to see that it's been over 10 days since the last upload was published. Has something been going on in the real world lately?

Re: AI Disappears after refueling

I thought of doing some more work on my updated scenery for Edwards and it's still having a problem of aircraft disappearing when they are supposed to push back. The strange thing is that all the parking spots have a taxi path to the runways, so I error checked and the only major findings is a dupli...

Here are the 2 CMV-22Bs currently active with the Navy. One is with HX-21 at Pax River, and the second is the one recently delivered to VRM-30 at NAS North Island.

The KC-46s currently at Altus are done. The Tankers at Pease are also going to be uploaded to the Hangar soon. These are going to be for FSX/P3D.

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

So this is an update of some of my earlier work; the C-130s currently active with VX-20 at Pax River. According to Scramble, they have 3 KC-130Ts, 1 C-130T, and 1 KC-130J. These paints are based on limited imagery as there aren't any current pictures of any of the aircraft. https://i.postimg.cc/qBmd...

The first CMV-22B delivered to North Island.

On June 22, VRM-30, VRC-30's replacement, received their first Osprey at NAS North Island. And before anyone asks; yes, I have made a paint of the Navy's Osprey with John's model. https://preview.redd.it/r7wwmkebbk651.jpg?auto=webp&s=00f82ea10f03d6d85d422ac65f2829b200a893fe Article: https://coronado...

HTAI NC-37B VX-30

Continuing with the Bloodhounds, I thought of making another interesting aircraft: the single NC-37B with the unit. The paint kit I used was Henry's G550, which is the platform used for the jet. Of course, the model doesn't have any of the equipment but I think I replicated it pretty nicely. This je...

Re: JYAI C-130J Specials

I'm back from a short vacation at Durango, CO and thought about what to paint next. I decided to make a retro paint of an interesting 130 variant; the DC-130A, which carried the Ryan Firebee UAVs under it's wings. All that's left are the unit markings. I could either do VC-3 or VX-30.

Here are VRC-30's CODs in FSX and they turned out great. In the package, I'll include a modified ADE file of Jim Dhaenen's and John Stinstrom's scenery of NAS North Island.

It's actually the airplanedoktor that made Fat Albert. And speaking of him, I wonder how he's doing on the Aussie Hercs. I'm not becoming impatient, just curious on how those are coming.

You make some good points Chris. I have heard and/or seen some video from those Aviation Youtubers, including blancolirio, and I have also learned that it's not really a good idea to speculate or just jump to a conclusion. I'll check out the post accident reports of the recent mishaps when they're r...

Re: E-2 Hawkeye and C-2 Greyhound

I finished painting the CODs of VRC-30 "Providers" based at NAS North Island. All I need to do is set up the textures and create the flight plans. The Providers have 5 detachments; 4 are stationed at North Island, and Det 5 is part of Carrier Air Wing 5 at MCAS Iwakuni. https://i.postimg.cc/bwnf0rVj...

Incidents and Accidents over the past few weeks.

You all probably heard about the different civilian and military aircraft incidents and mishaps that occurred over the past few weeks. The Eglin F-22 crash, the Snowbird Tutor crash, the Eglin F-35 crash, the Pakistan A320 crash in Karachi, and more recently, an F-35 gear collapse and a C-130 runnin...
