The solution is a custom waterclass, which is on my wish list as well because I really want to fix this in Matrix.

It's been ages since I worked with SBuilderX and I have so much other stuff going on that I was hoping someone else would beat me to it...

Yes, we have permission from Sergey to convert his Su-27 model.

At this moment it is not being worked on by the conversion team and we can't say if and when the model would actually be converted.

Hi mageej and welcome to the forums,

The effect file is already present and added to the ACG (JYAI) F-15's in Matrix, so there's no need to download it here and add the cfg lines. In fact, it is strongly advised that you never add, remove or change any files in Matrix.

Except perhaps a prop or canopy glass issue which is easily solved with an alpha layer, FS9 native aircraft have always worked just fine in FSX.

The clue is in the texture.cfg file that the developer included in every texture folder. It tells the sim where to look for missing textures without cascading through the default fallback options and eventually finding them in the root "Texture" folder, which should save some resources. Version 1.2 of this package is now available in the hangar, fixing the A-models with missing ailerons.

You can also simply download the models from the link in a couple of posts above. The updated models will also be added with the next update of Matrix North America.

All very strange. I don't seem to have any issues nor were there any other reports about this. Also, AIAE reports all T-38 mdl's in Matrix as MDLX, so they are definitely not the original FS9 models.

I'll have a closer look later.

You were ahead of us again, John. :) I would also keep AO since that should only affect parts that are difficult to reach by ambient light anyway and indeed adds more depth to the texture. Dare I say, is this another reason why FS9 and to a certain extent FSX not be developed for to reduce developer...
