The download hangar is currently disabled. We're doing our best to bring it back as soon as possible.

Dang, hope he's alright. He was fine, Mike, he walked away with not a mark on him; shaken and not stirred, as they say. I'm just glad I was sat at my desk 15 miles away and not 3 feet away sat beside him. On the other hand, if I had been sat beside him it probably wouldn't have ended this way. Surp...

Nice video!
The opening scenes brought back some memories, I used to cycle along that road every morning on the way to work. The jets had gone by then and those ASPs were full of trucks, except the 1 Regt AAC pan, of course

Re: Leuchars Out Lossie In
I can't see Yeovs being used for F-35. The real estate is being swallowed up by rotary assets; Merlins taking over from Commandos and Wildcat taking up the rest with AAC units moving in from Germany and elsewhere in the UK. There is already a shortage of accommodation and new builds are springing up...

Re: RAF C-130's
Ghetto maintenance I'm guessing, making due with the parts you have..... They were ordered before they knew how much use they'd be getting put of them. The flying rate is so high that maintenance has become a big issue. When I was at Lyneham before they closed it was quite shocking to hear the stor...

Re: RC-135 Air Seeker
I don't know if I'm talking BS, but I was told by an aircraft engineer that they prefer the aircraft, or at least the top of the aircraft, to be painted white because it reflects light (the sunlight heats up the inside of the aircraft) reducing the need for air conditioning. Aircraft operating above...

I was there two weeks ago, it was bloody brilliant and I hope those Norwegians enjoyed the Australian hospitality.
It's just such a shame that we have to fill the massed Ps&Ds with non-Scottish bands (don't get me wrong, it's fantastic to see our cousins there).

Re: 157th Air Refueling Wing support thread
I believe the simple answer for FSX is to make sure the parking spot sizes match the wingspan size (correct me if I'm wrong and it's the half wingspan size) of the FS9 aircraft.cfg file and ensure that the codes are correct. IIRC (and it's been quite some time since I did any of this) FSX honours th...
