Re: Boeing 767 Military Derivatives
The FS9 and FSX zips plus a paint kit were sent for upload to the Download Hangar this morning. The files are: JYAI_KC-767_FS9_1.zip JYAI_KC-767_FSX_1.zip and JYAI_KC-767_Paint_Kit.zip Just awaiting confirmation that they are available. http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/B767%20deriv...

Re: Boeing 767 Military Derivatives
Although the KC-46A and KC-767A's have wing pods, I didn't make the drogue hoses and funnels this time. I did that on the RAF Victor but there are 3 disadvantages: - you can't unwind the hoses, they have to flash to the deployed position when triggered at altitude. - the trailing length of the hoses...

Re: Boeing 767 Military Derivatives
1. Nope, no interest in commercial AI. 2. The FSX KBI screen shot is default scenery. FS9 default KBFI is indeed poor, but I haven't found a better one. 3. Yep, usually get 7 hours+ sleep a night. I just like early mornings for designing when it's quiet and occasionally evenings before 10pm. The bit...

Boeing 767 Military Derivatives
It might be a little premature to model an aircraft not yet in service, but the Boeing KC-46A model provides a good basis for 3 other Boeing 767 military derivatives, albeit with different engines - the KC-767A, KC-767J and the E-767 AWACS, that are all in service now. I thought there was merit in g...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
I need to stress that I produced the paints for the military versions included in the B-350 package and the mapping works fine for them. The generic paint kits were just a bonus to make use of as is. There may well be mapping issues with some complex civilian paint schemes and I really don't want to...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
The V2 Generic 2 model fixes the alignment. If you PM me your e-mail address, I'll send it to you.

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Thanks Stewart. I don't want to get too far ahead with new projects or I will forget how this one fits together. I'd like to just finish what I'm doing at the moment and then package up the Poseidons and Wedgetails with the sceneries that have been produced by then and get them out. That should be i...

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
I've re-mapped the fin texture on the Generic 2 FSX model to enable a better flow-through pattern from the fin to the fuselage. Morten has the new model, but if anyone else needs it for something similar, just PM me.

Re: Beechcraft King Air 350 Specials
I've checked the mapping on both the top of the fuselage at the tail end and on the vertical stabiliser and it looks OK. However, the problem might be caused by the bottom of the vertical stabiliser being positioned just below the top of the fuselage in the model. Could you possibly PM me the textur...

Re: RAF RC-135s
Yes I think there's some truth in that. We were told when we visited Bentwaters to do our research for the scenery we were building, that the re-wiring costs of the RAF taking over the base would be too expensive.

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Musical chairs it is then. I've put VP-5 into Jacksonville. If you could swap VP-8 for VP10 at Kadena Brent that would be great. I'll then put VP-8 into Jacksonville. I'll remove VP-45 from Jacksonville, but I need to work out how to accommodate them at Sigonella. From a quick forum search, I see th...

Re: JYAI P-8 Poseidon and B-737 AEW&C
Current progress is as follows I think: Poseidons (P-8As): I've just finished changing out the bulk of the P-3Bs at Jacksonville for P-8As - 10 of the former remaining and 28 of the latter added. http://i588.photobucket.com/albums/ss323/Bitmap512/Poseidon%20and%20Wedgetail/Image1_zpskqadluqk.jpg Kad...

Re: Kawasaki P-1
Sorry, I omitted to include the effect files for the P-1. However they are the same files I use on most of my jet models, so chances are you have them already. They are: fx_nicks_tchdwn_s, 1 fx_ai_fighter_contrail fx_nicksmokeAI_sm_lear I've attached them below for anyone who hasn't got them. The in...
