Re: Bagram AB 747 Freighter Crash
Jeez guys sorry LOL. I never intended it to be accurate. I was making it and thought it would sound better as Le French rather than The French.sr01 wrote:Nick Your" Le French are coming sign" doesn't work !!
It should be "Les French are coming"
Anyways back to the topic.

If you are trying to add traffic to fsx simple fs2004 files won't work.
If you google the owls nest and have a look at martins tutorials you'll be set

Re: FSX AFCAD location
MAIW AFDs are nearly always located in the scenery folder for whatever package you are installing. So for the French Mirage package they are located in "MAIW French Airbase Scenery/Scenery" folder. If you are manually adding them then you should know where you are putting them. The only ot...

Re: re: MAIW FSX Package Conversion
Tom, Now your eyes are opened make sure you look at some of our other traffic packages. As you are a former Tomcat boy at Miramar I suggest you try our TOPGUN package (though as an older package Im not sure how good it will look in FSX) featuring all the Miramar based Tomcats circa late 80s. We have...

Re: Most wanted AI aircraft poll resetted
There are two possible views on this list - before voting and after voting :smt003 Number 4 on the list before voting is the Avro 696 Shackleton. This one I have added for me; you making that model would make me glad. Such a nice looking aircraft! But deep in my heart I know you are referring to th...

Martin,
I can report that No.4 in your list of priorities on there is in my list, in fact next in my list.
Just gathering reference material for it now.

Re: F-35 Joint Strike Fighter
Mark,
What you could do is put all the standard parts that don't change from model to model on a desperate texture and put that in the main FS Texture folder and then have all the customisable reprint parts on individual textures in your aircraft folder.

Re: F-35 Joint Strike Fighter
That looks excellent mate. Keep up the good work Actually Dan, it just goes to show how important textures are to an AI model of this type and why we put so much umth onto painters to deliver the model from purgatory. Developing a model is only part of the process, without the expertise of painters...

I can't see how this awful project has been allowed to drag on. I said a while ago that I believed that the F-35 would never see active service. Maybe they will see.reconmercs wrote:I wonder how much money could be salvaged from scrapping the F-35? just saying...

Re: Anyone try the new RAF bases scenery on avsim?
If I remember correctly "Team SDB" is the splinter scenery arm of what used to be Alphasim, now Virtavia. Their sceneries used to be pay ware. For a time I got a very small kick back for them using my FS9 AI B-1B in a package.
