Could I trouble you for the title and author? Sounds very interesting.VulcanDriver wrote:This is related in full in a book on the Vulcan I've got. It is all true, The Vulcans were using a new British radar jammer which meant the USAF defences were blinded.

Re: Captain sim/ Justflight C130
To be honest you do need to force yor way through the manual. You can cheat a bit with the RAF Lyneham tutorial section, should be on page134. Here is an abridged checklist... BEFORE START EXTERNAL POWER - EXT AC PWR ON EXT DC PWR GTC - START BLEED AIR - OPEN ATM GEN - AS REQUIRED CO-PILOT INVERTER ...

Re: MAIW in the future
At the end of the day the current MAIW packages will work in FSX with a little work on your part. So why want a change that would leave a hell of a lot of simmers high and dry because they can't afford the hardware to run FSX?

Click file, update voicepack. In the grey box that pops up, at the top is Phraseology with a tick box and a drop down box to change to ICAO or FAA Phraseology. Then click OK.

Re: Flatten problem
Ah, well there's your problem. Use AFCAD to make carrier flatten files. You make a seperate afcad with just an apron taxiway link that goes down the middle of the carrier extending out either end by a few hundred feet and make it 800 feet wide then put the file where I mentioned in my earlier post.

Re: Flatten problem
Seperate flattens from the carrier scenery, put it in it's own folder like Flatten, put a scenery folder in there, put the flatten file in the scenery folder ( Addon Scenery\Flatten\scenery\AF2_flat.bgl ) and add it to your scenery library but make sure it's priority is above the carrier scenery.

Re: Captain sim/ Justflight C130
It's brilliant with tons of features and the potential for some great flights. I've only got the base package for FS9, I'd love to get some of the other variants, espacially the J model but don't have the funds. You won't regret your purchase, just be sure to read the manual thoroughly, the only pro...

Re: Repaints for FAB UH-60, UH-1, etc
There is a WIP "AI" version of Jordan Moores Blackhawk here... http://www.hovercontrol.com/cgi-bin/ifolio/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Various-Misc&img=18 It isn't as light as MAIW models but better than the flyable version. It's got the FSDS source files to finish it off if one of the talent...
