Re: Urgent Forum Maintenance

Hi everyone, I'm glad to report that the hardest part is over. The site and forums are running on all engines again. So far it looks like I managed to entirely preserve the download hangar. It's not in a functional state at this moment so I had to disable the public access, but I hope to get it back...

Re: MSFS 2020

AIG and FSLTL are using their respective proprietary applications to inject traffic into the sim using the SimConnect SDK instead of using traffic BGL files. It's not just about methodology, you actually need (a) programmer(s) with the time and motivation to write and maintain such an application. U...

Re: Missing Textures

Sounds like the old case of duplicate libraries. Do a search and make sure you only have one instance of any particular library bgl file with all the required textures. Sometimes you'll find the same library bgl file in scenery A and scenery B but scenery A doesn't contain all the textures (only the...

Well, it's not like you're running 16-year-old software on modern hardware. Oh wait.

Re: JYAI F-111 Family..

Upload size limit is 128 MB. There are larger files in the hangar but those were uploaded directly by library staff via FTP.

The current text on the upload form is confusing, as it says both 256 MB and 131072 KB. Only the latter is correct. I'll fix that.

Post moved since it has nothing to do with the NBAI Typhoon conversion. ;)

No. I guess you skipped a few posts here.

Perhaps you missed this thread?

The choice to create the thread on the screenshots board instead of the AIG models board is perhaps a bit unfortunate, but an update was posted there only a few days ago.

We're hiring beta testers

Our first package for MSFS is nearing the end of development and I would like to assemble a small team for closed beta testing. The goal is to find the final bugs and ensure that the packages work on a variety of systems. Beta testers must know their way in the MSFS user interface (options screen, c...

Re: Preview of our first MSFS package

Well for now, this is just one package featuring one single unit: the 495th Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheath. The plan is to release more packages in the future for more units, much like we did for FS9 back in the day, slowly building up our portfolio. Once we have enough content, we might build a...

Re: Preview of our first MSFS package

There’s nothing to discuss, really. The sim is agnostic to the concept of formations so the setup doesn’t matter. As soon as an AI aircraft needs to hold during taxi, be it at the holding position, on the apron while waiting for another taxiing aircraft or anywhere else, there’s a (seemingly random)...

Re: Preview of our first MSFS package

I have never seen our test aircraft spin at the runway hold Greg. I saw it during testing yesterday for the first time. The second element of a formation had to hold short of RWY 24 while the lead was taking off. It started spinning but soon got a line up and wait instruction after a quarter spin, ...

Re: Preview of our first MSFS package

Great news, have been using the AIG beta program with frustration at times due to the limited AI support currently in MSFS. I know it will get better and now something to look forward to. Well, our packages will use the same AI engine with the same limitations: spinning aircraft at the holding, fla...

Preview of our first MSFS package

After a lot of teasing and cautious statements, we are proud to finally announce that we're now making good progress on our first MSFS AI traffic package featuring the JYAI F-35A at RAF Lakenheath!

Re: RAF Lakenheath for FSX/P3D

I moved the posts to Ian's original release topic.

As you can see a few posts up, I have linked to a fix for the P3Dv4 version but I'm not sure if the replacement BGL works for FSX.
