Re: The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
Okay,
now all my data is in the list, some very retro prop-liners (filter for MATS in the description) have come today with the last batch. If you have any input that is missing on the list - I know you have - then please use the Excel sheet from the web page and let me have it.

Re: The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
Anybody else having that issue that filtering is not possible?
The LODs are a good idea, Giorgio. What makes me wonder is aside from the modeller telling in a readme there is still no good way to really find out, or is there?

Re: The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
You do the right thing, Chris - for everybody who speaks up there are always dozens of people who are just too shy to mouth it :D So this is how you deal with every filterable table on The Owl's Nest (Aircraft reference, MAIW list etc.). Let's take Chris's example. You want to look for Hornets. Sinc...

Re: The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
Revised as discussed above. Chris, all - what do you think - is it clearer now?
I have a third batch of data that I will feed in this week, then I am running out of own material.
Is anybody interested in providing data? I can send you the Excel file as a template that I use.

Re: The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
Martin I got confused (easily done). There doesn't seem to be a clear distinction between the aircraft modeller and the repaints. My suggestion would be to have the frontispiece as the AI model itself and from there off to another screen for the repaints etc for each aircraft. If you then felt you ...

The Owls Nest - Individual AI aircraft and repaint reference
It his high time for a new Owl egg :smt001 This is actually something I wanted to do since the very start of The Owl's Nest - a reference for the important military AI aircraft that are not part of the well known packages plus for important repaints. Things that are being searched again and again. T...

Oh wow, finally
Thank you very much, Jake and Ray. I have waited for the Bronco a very long time. Hopefully I will manage to get it into FS in the coming month. Looks very beautiful from the screen shots!

Re: OwlAI has gone live with the first four F-104 AI packages
Giorgio,
I have never seen that. Just an idea... might it be that somehow you mixed the config file and flight model between the two versions? But that could be only possible if you have done a manual installation.

Re: OwlAI has gone live with the first four F-104 AI packages
The F-104 ROCAF package has been release on The Owl's Nest. The flight plans - again done by Daniel Reeves - are included in the separate file "OwlAI-F-104-Traffic-FS9-FSX". Daniel has also created some VCPMods, offered in another separate Zip. Thanks a lot, Daniel for your support :smt001

Eurofighter FSX canopy - Yippie-Ya-Yeah
It always grieved me that the Eurofighter in FSX had that ugly opaque canopy. After I fixed the Tornado and Mirage I really wanted to cure this aircraft as well - but I never succeeded in finding the relevant part in the texture. Finally I gave up, because I misunderstood Nick and came to believe th...

Re: SKJ An-12 in FSX
Jeez, that took me quite some time to figure out... I tried with the panel trick: no aircraft in the FSX selection. I removed the aircraft folder, added it fresh from the archive plus the panel - same result. So I went and downloaded the WoAI package and sure enough - there she was. Then I ad...

Thanks for the feedback, I will test the trick with making it a flyable aircraft when I come home from work and report back.

Second that!!!!!COBS wrote:Those models and screenshots are really superb.
It would be great to have even your experimental loadout models, please do not discard them,
I'm sure that there are many that would love to have those loadout models , even if they are
only semi finished.

Re: Deploy chute and spoilers on hold short before start
Thanks Martin, I actually just purchased it after seeing your recommendation on your site, although I have not seen the above issue in my FSX set up. Spoilers can be easily missed if you are not looking too hard or from a larger distance. But no so chutes  Can you try it with one of the AIs t...

Re: Deploy chute and spoilers on hold short before start
I found the culprit. Ironically it is the excellent tool Super Traffic Board that I use to monitor AI traffic. It interacts with the flight simulator and let you do great things with AI. I have informed the developer Simon about this bug.
