Re: The JYAI A10-A 'Warthog'

one thing that was clear as day was....no hopping skipping or jumping....nearly every other AI that apparently works for msfs skips at least twice in the distance covered in that viewpoint. The matt finish IS the best compared to some poor repaints people are releasing for other files on that .to we...

Pete, I think there's quite a bit of interest in MSFS within the users here, sadly Asobos lack of fixing the AI has probable made these same users feel it may come in time and leave the experts to it. I still watch the selfridge A-10s and 135's do what they can and enjoy seeing them active even in t...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...

update from microsoft.. Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 be a completely standalone sequel, or will it also be offered as a paid update for existing players? Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is a standalone simulator and the next-generation sequel to Microsoft Flight Simulator that launched in 20...

Re: JYAI Westland Wessex

These Wessex looks amazing..just wish fs2020 was behaving more for AI as would love to see these at Culdrose. Please continue the amazing work you and the others do here and as Delboy stated, theres many that hope issues of real life and servers etc can be resolved somehow to allow your creations to...

Re: RAF Lakenheath for MSFS2020

Hi there...now that Lakenheath has appeared on the marketplace as payware.....
what are the changes comapared to the version we already have from flightsim.to?
will the changes if any be available to MAIW members or do we need to purchase from scratch?

all the best

Re: The JYAI A10-A 'Warthog'

I have tried AIGround Trev, but it caused more problems than it solved. John Kinda finding the same as well...to a point. Ive been able to increase landing rollouts and takoff rolls...but the flare on approach alludes me whatever settings i tweak. ive been playing with it while watching arrivals an...

Re: The JYAI A10-A 'Warthog'

….thanks for showing interest chaps. Please remember that it is the Ai Aircraft that are being demonstrated here in the screenshots and not really the Scenery. Unfortunately we have a nearly as big an issue regarding highly detailed Military Scenery for MSFS as we do with the MSFS Ai System itself....

Re: The JYAI A10-A 'Warthog'

Looks excellent and brings back many happy burger memories...The vehicles when in p3d from original scenery were the best...somewhere hopefully theyve included a rather cool looking camo humvee

Re: "Where Eagles Dare"

These shots really show how far this has all come along and its really quite incredible...the effects look awesome.
Have you been able to tweak landing gear retraction at lower altitudes or is this still stuck like fsx/p3d days

Regards

Re: Thoughts on FSLTL?

Looking at the Selfridge pack...its pretty damn good as it is. if packs were just aircraft doing circuits, id be happy till asobo fix their poor ai engine and let developers really show them what can be done. unfortunately flightsim.to doesnt look like it will have sensible categories so everything ...

Re: Thoughts on FSLTL?

I was teetering on the edge of asking this very same question to John while testing his Selfridge ang kc-135's. As FSLTL takes data from a live service that reflects real world movements...would it not be easier to produce the models and with their assistance or collaborative effort...bring them to ...

Re: Selfridge ANG Base - MSFS

All I did Trev, was to copy the soundai folder from the F-35A conversion. The sound element was done for that aircraft by Greg. I'll ask him what specific changes he made to the xml file to enable it. I want to try an airliner sound for the KC-135 in any case, so I need that information. John much ...

Re: Selfridge ANG Base - MSFS

I'm not sure Trev. I would guess how sound behaves is determined by the soundai.xml file, but when I look at it it has many references to "WwiseData". This is the link to the SDK - https://www.audiokinetic.com/library/2016.2.6_6153/?source=SDK&id=index.html. I'm not intending to go th...

Re: Selfridge ANG Base - MSFS

John..something I want to experiment with is the sound pack. Last night..i copied the cfm56 soundai folder from the fsltl 737 folder and replaced the soundAI folder in the 135 folder...I noticed you've selected the default F-18 sounds. I know the pack couldn't be released with fsltl sounds without p...

Re: Selfridge ANG Base - MSFS

First findings.. first flight..watched an A-10 depart.. everything was as smooth as can expect. didnt see it return as had to end session with little boy fussing.. second flight... flight 88 departed..KC-135R. departed south westerly before returning to base. Animations look great and once landed......

Re: Selfridge ANG Base - MSFS

John, these models look like payware quality...msfs really gives that something else quality.
hope to see the 100th ARW sometime. Praying Ian is looking into the Hall to complement his Heath scenery.

Would really appreciate a link to check out Selfridge to see how it all shapes up thus far.
