Re: NH-90
Any news on the FSX/P3D conversions? Jorgen I did a few variants and wrote an instruction manual for anyone who wanted to convert the models they were interested in using. There are just too many variants for me to do them all. So far there have been no other conversions other than my release of th...

Re: Looking for JYAI F-15's from Portland
I will look and see if I still have them. Probably do somewhere as I am a flightsim pack rat.
They won't have been updated since I originally did them.
I have no problem with them being shared by anyone who has them at hand.

Re: WSMG AI F-16 preview
A choice... The original Block 30's had the taxi/landing lights on the main gear. On the CCIP upgrade they were moved to the nose gear door, same as every other Block from 40 onwards. Which basically means the only visible difference would be the HUD. So a) Do as originally manufactured. b) As a CC...

Re: JYAI P3D question
Don't worry about those Content Error reports. There is some slight difference in how some of the xml code is formatted as compared to what P3D thinks is "correct". If you use some of our (mine at least) converted models they throw up similar errors. I searched and searched my xml but coul...

Re: General MAIW Conversion Package issues
Hi, There are a number of models that were converted to P3D but not converted to FSX native format. Mostly jets as far as I recall. Fortunately the FS9 models work in FSX (unlike P3D) so if you install the FS9 models first and then overwrite them with as many of the FSX native models as you can find...

Re: KLSV Nellis AFB - P3Dv4
The recent versions of ADE allows doing that. When you import an airport it comes up with a message that it has found "one or more black box library objects...If you want to compile them click Yes, otherwise click No" Also under compile options /More Options there is the option to click &q...

Re: A brand new MS Flight Simulator is coming...
Having finally got my system up to the point where it can run MSFS I can fully understand the frustration developers are feeling. I love MSFS for flying low and slow (especially over places I know well - I recently flew over Guildford and could easily identify my old house and the places we walked t...

Re: Help needed please - FSX Flap Test
For those of you that have issues with have issues with TTB loading, especially FSX:SE uses then this is what to check for. In your FSX roaming folder, C:\Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX there should be a dll.xml file. In that there should a section for Traffic Toolbox. In mine it looks l...

Re: Help needed please - FSX Flap Test
Hi John,
I just tested on FSX:SE as well and got the same results as morbidfred.
I had TTB enabled in my dll.xml but for some reason it doesn't seem to load - perhaps an issue with the SDK versions???
BTW the model looks really nice.

Re: Merge objects with MDLCVRTX
Hi,
In the merge objects tool you can choose the LOD that you are merging into (it defaults to LOD 100). Make sure that LOD value matches the LOD that you are looking at in MCX

Re: Merge objects with MDLCVRTX
Hi,
I've never merged collada files but I have merged FSDS source parts onto models so it should work.
If not then use MCX to create a mdl file from the collada source.
One hint with merging is to make sure you get the LOD correct in the merge tool.
good luck.

ETPS PC-21?
HI, I was flying over my virtual Boscombe Downs the other day and noticed that it seemed really empty so I thought about populating it with the Empire Test Pilot School aircraft. I know the Grob G120 for the ETPS is part of Johns great package and I was wondering if one of our talented people had ta...

Hello, I would like to use the Gonzo in FS9, too. Can you show me where I can get the model, please? They would suit well in the freeware Winnipeg Scenery of Gregory Putz. @Jon May I ask if you painted all four Gonzos of RCAF? Thanks for your help! Sorry Asdro - The AIG Dash-8 series is for FSX / P...
