Lewis, Thanks for help, I think I have it sorted now. I found a different version of the file KNIP.zip, which has both the KNIP.bgl and AF2_KNIP.bgl in the Scenery folder, which makes the swap out easy. The other version had just the KNIP.bgl, an not the AFCAD separate, I was mistaken into thinking ...

Sorry, FS9. Yeah if I do place the MAIW AFCAD in the KNIP scenery folder, start FS9 and I still have the KNIP.bgl AFCAD being used. It's a be tricky issue and I have not been able to fix even prior to the MAIW FL Orions package being released. Right now I have to choose between the great scenery or ...

Helos are great, I'll try to post some pics of my 1980's paints. On the scenery, I follow how you are doing that, but the KNIP.zip I have, within the scenery folder is only one .bgl, KNIP.bgl. How do I just extract the AFCAD and not mess with the scenery .bgls? I just wanted to replace the AFCAD wit...

Just got them downloaded, thanks for these. I might have to dig up some of my old squadron's (HS-15) H-3 paint schemes from this period (2 tone-grey/white). I did have a Mayport AFCAD started, having spent hours in the pattern there, but was still waiting on good AI helos. Just a quick question on t...

Nice Lewis can't wait, despite me being with the H-60 series my whole career so far, would be great to have some retro H-3's up.

Are you using the stock NAS Jax? Tried converting the MAIW AF2 with the .bgl of Jim D's KNIP, didn't work.

Not sure of a kit, I just did some basic repaints of US squadrons I needed in about 5 minutes, I even used M$ Paint.

Just got the new April-May 09 issue (Vol. 10 No. 2) with a complete list of current US Navy Airpower (aircraft/bases/units). Huge Naval Aviation fan, so having this helps get most of my FS bases current, except the MAIW Tomcat Sunset package. Also, Army Aviation is pretty dear to me so I wanted to m...

Wow, I wonder how much a Flanker goes for these days. I can only hope they bought several spare engines.

Even the other jet warbirds on the site are not too bad, if say I was in the market for a new aircraft, hmmm....Cirrus or a L-39?

Or the older freeware FS8/9 versions from Alphasim. I've been looking for a good freeware Phantom for years.

You might be able to find Dean R.'s F-18 that he made prior to the payware Aerial Foundry Bug coming out. The best freeware Hornet by far is the FS-KBT F-18E/F/G Super Hornet, but again not much out for the legacy or Baby-Hornets.

I was trying to something like this for the US, as we have tons of IFR/VFR Military Training Routes (MTRs) throughout. I have all the current pubs to add the waypoints, but really didn't know how to start or how to get the AI aircraft to follow them without shooting an approach to each waypoint. My ...

Great going on those. When I first got to NAS Jax, HS-7 was the last HS squadron to transition to H-60F/H's.

True and not being able to model, I guess I will just wait. I just wanted some traffic around NS Norfolk with the C-2's and EA-6B's at Cherry Point. The models are based off the flyable ones in the payware package. I've never seen a pic of clean (no ALQ's or drops) on a Prowler, just doesn't look ri...

Abacus FD4/5 AI...

While waiting for a true AI model of both the C-2 and EA-6B, I started to add some of the Flight Deck 4 not really AI models to my NGU and NKT airbases. For the Prowler, I was using Rick S.'s non-AI model with all the VMAQ repaints at NKT, but now with the MAIW AV-8's all over the ramp, my framerate...

Having flown this mission for "W" when he would visit the Crawford,TX ranch. I can tell you I would not be laughing having to launch at 0200 to track this guy down. The fighters will also not get that slow with the Cessna, after a few "get your attention fly-by's", we (UH-60 Blac...

I know of several former Scooter drivers that would love to just see something like this in person. The ebay listing had a good following on another Naval Aviation site that I am on. Not sure what the big deal is, ATAC flys several.
